During my daily browse through my RSS feeds, I came across an amazing example of sharing. One of the major concepts of 21st Century learning is sharing and collaboration (ala the title of this blog
). On this NZ educators’ blog, she has posted a link to her wiki. On the wiki is an amazing variety of Christmas links that she is sharing with the world. What a lot of work she put into collecting these links, too good not to share with someone!

One neat project I remember seeing was a web page where everyone contributed the “Christmas” customs of their family/culture/country etc. It would make an interesting project for an online community. Of course the topic doesn’t have to be “Christmas.” Just listening to exchange students discuss the differences in their educational experiences “at home” and comparing them to our school are very interesting also. Especially if they include how they feel about the differences.
Thanks for sharing.
Hi there,
Just wanted to say thanks for your kind words about the Christmas wiki page that I set up. I am glad that people have found it useful though I’m afraid that collecting all the links may have tired me of Christmas songs etc very early in the season!
Thanks for the links.
